About the Institute
Welcome to 32x33 Institute, an independent publication by and for people who take cybersecurity seriously, but not that much. If you subscribe today, you'll get full access to the website as well as email newsletters about new content when it's available. Your subscription makes this site possible, and allows 32x33 Institute to continue to exist. Thank you!
Subscriptions
We want this to be a reader-supported publication, so your subscription really does help out. On the other hand, we want this to be accessible to as many people as possible. We' don't want to:
- Serve intrusive and questionable ads;
- Litter the site with trackers;
- Collect, bundle, and sell any kind of data on our readership.
Given that, we've settled on a "pay if you want to" model. There are some small perks for paying members, like commenting on the website, but the actual content is free. We vow to be as transparent as possible about this kind of stuff, and we commit to disclosing any privacy-impacting events when legally allowed to do so. We will also do our best to make sure the content produced here doesn't end up feeding some LLM against our will.
Proceeds from subscriptions are meant to:
- Pay for the infrastructure;
- Compensate the writers.
Our editorial guidelines
Those are very simple, and out here for everyone to see:
- Don't make shit up
- Cite your sources
- Retract/update and apologize when proven wrong
- Don't bait
- Don't use offensive language towards human beings
- Be respectful of your readership and comrades
- Let it rip
Let's do that cyber!
Sounds good? Join us and let's take back cybersecurity content.
